CHINATOWN 2026
Chinatown is an historic district in downtown Manhattan that was the home of the Chinese immigrant community. Decades later it is still the Chinese cultural hotspot it was back then. Just walking around the center of Chinatown you will see an array of Chinese restaurants, bakeries, markets and gift/souvenir shops. If you walk out further towards the Manhattan Bridge you will find a more residential and less commercial, less touristy part of Chinatown. Here you will find specialty food shops, vintage clothing and a burgeoning contemporary art scene have evolved over the last few years. What’s best about Chinatown is that the food, art and products are very affordable compared to most of Manhattan. We picked a few of our favorites that we keep on patronizing but just walking around you will discover the many hidden gems of Chinatown.
