Williamsburg, Brooklyn is the first neighborhood you encounter when you get off the Williamsburg Bridge. It has gone through many nationalities settling there much like the Lower East Side with artists and a younger crowd moving in the last few decades. Many young emerging brands have made Williamsburg their home since it’s more affordable than Manhattan however the last ten years has seen Williamsburg now welcome very high end luxury brands along with an explosion of new not so affordable housing. That said it is still a shopping destination for more affordable fashion, home decor, galleries and vintage. Plus some of the most trendiest bars, restaurants, coffee shops and boutique hotels.
